The Grandstream GVC3212 is the compact, affordable video conferencing endpoint in the GVC range — 1080p video with dual microphones covering about three metres, advanced echo cancellation and noise shield, in a small unit that sits on top of the screen.

It is sized for the rooms most businesses actually have. The two-person huddle room, the manager's office, the meeting corner — rooms where a 4K PTZ system would be money spent on capability the room cannot use. At three metres of microphone pickup and 1080p, it matches a small room exactly and costs accordingly.

The noise shield matters more than the resolution here: small rooms are usually next to open-plan noise, and filtering the keyboard clatter and corridor chat out of the call is what makes a cheap room system feel professional.

Frequently asked questions

Is 1080p enough?

For a small room on a small screen, yes — comfortably. 4K earns its money on big screens in big rooms; in a huddle room it is resolution the display never shows.

How many people can it cover?

Two to four around a small table, within the roughly three-metre microphone pickup. Beyond that, step up to the GVC3210 or add a table microphone.

What does the noise shield actually do?

It filters steady background noise — keyboards, air conditioning, corridor chatter — out of the transmitted audio. In a thin-walled huddle room next to an open-plan floor, it is the single most audible feature.

Does it need a PC in the room?

No — it is an all-in-one endpoint. Screen, power and network is the whole install.

Can it call our other offices directly?

Yes — as a SIP endpoint it registers to your UCM or hosted platform, so site-to-site room video needs no third-party service.
