Grandstream GRP2624 8-Line Carrier-Grade IP Phone

The Grandstream GRP2624 is an eight-line carrier-grade desk phone for users who spend most of the day on calls. Eight physical line keys carry up to twelve SIP accounts, a 2.8-inch colour display handles caller detail and menus, and 5-way conferencing means multi-party calls can be set up on the phone rather than through the PBX.

Wireless is where it separates itself from older eight-line handsets. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth are both integrated, and a USB port supports Grandstream's own GUV headsets as well as generic USB models. That flexibility, combined with Gigabit ports and 802.3af PoE, makes it a practical choice for offices that mix fixed desks, hot desks and home workers on the same platform.

Frequently asked questions

How many SIP accounts can the GRP2624 register?

Up to twelve, presented across eight physical line keys, so a user can appear on several numbers and still have keys free for colleagues.

Does it work over Wi-Fi?

Yes. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 is integrated, so the phone only needs power if a data point is not available.

Will my USB headset work?

The GRP2624 supports Grandstream's GUV series and other standard USB headsets, as well as EHS-compatible Plantronics headsets on the RJ9 jack.

How much PoE power does it need?

Up to 10.8W over PoE, which is within the 802.3af budget but worth allowing for if you are populating a switch fully.

What is the difference between the GRP2624 and GRP2634?

They share the same chassis, eight line keys and twelve accounts. The GRP2634 adds 32 virtual multi-purpose keys and 10 physical MPK keys for heavier BLF use.
