Grandstream GXP2140 Enterprise IP Phone

The Grandstream GXP2140 is built for the desk that needs a large, legible screen and the option to grow. Four lines and four SIP accounts sit under a 4.3-inch 480 × 272 colour display, and up to four GXP2200EXT modules can be cascaded from it, turning a standard desk phone into a full operator position when the role demands it.

That upgrade path is why it stayed in service so long in reception areas, executive offices and support desks. Bluetooth 2.1 handles mobile contact syncing and wireless headsets, a USB port takes data import and export, and Gigabit ports with integrated 802.3af PoE keep installation to one cable. Five-way conferencing means most internal meetings never need to touch the PBX bridge.

Up to 160 speed-dial and BLF contacts across four cascaded GXP2200EXT modules, which makes the GXP2140 a genuine operator position.

Do the expansion modules need their own power?

Power consumption rises to a maximum of 10W with four cascaded modules, so allow for that in your PoE budget or use the mains adapter.

How does the GXP2140 differ from the GXP2160?

The GXP2160 has six lines and six SIP accounts with 24 programmable BLF keys built in, but no expansion module support. The GXP2140 has four lines and expands externally instead.

Is Bluetooth included?

Yes, Bluetooth 2.1 for mobile contact syncing and wireless headsets.
